Agree with the post above. Text to the left works. I think the real problem here is that there is no where for the text to go b/c the umbrella and the shadow really choke everything. I think the preferable solution is to murder this photo, & barring that shooting the photographer.

saucey boy is looking good.
like the headline placement to the left of him, but type line is too high.
prefer the type line lower, but like the headline on the far side.
the other feature needs a focus.
it's all over the spread.
